Patrick Lundy Taps LeJuene Thompson For Cover Me

Patrick Lundy and The Ministers of Music are one of the most pristine and versatile choirs who deliver powerful performances consistently. Director and founder Patrick Lundy formed the choir twenty-eight years ago, and with each year, he and his choir have continued to raise the bar for Gospel choir music.

Patrick Lundy and The Ministers of Music (PL&MOM) celebrated their 25th anniversary with an album WAY-MAKER 25th ANNIVERSARY LIVE RECORDING. The title track peaked at #15 on the BDS Gospel airplay chart, followed by the successful single “He’s Still The Light”. PL&MOM have released another powerful single from that album, “Cover Me”, that again showcases the prowess of a seasoned choir who sings with exemplary technique and passion.

“Cover Me” features the signature soulful and adept vocals of LeJuene Thompson. LeJuene is a powerful vocalist who has recorded solo albums (SOUL INSPIRATION and METAMORPHOSIS) and has appeared on iconic projects by Bishop T.D. Jakes, John P. Kee, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Earnest Pugh, Donald Lawrence & The Tri-City Singers, and many more.
Multiple award-winning producer Cedric Thompson is in the producer’s seat for the “Cover Me” single and WAY-MAKER 25th ANNIVERSARY LIVE RECORDING album. The single and album are available now on all digital music outlets.

Patrick serves as the Director of Music ad Worship Arts at the Reid Temple AME Church in Glenn Dale, Maryland. PL&MOM are a Washington DC-based collective of singers and musicians with an aggregate choir Lundy & The Ministers of Music – Georgia Connection. PL&MOM are world-class musical virtuosos who become vessels through which the intent of worship and praise is fully recognized.

Under Patrick’s leadership, the choir has performed at several Presidential inauguration events and Congressional Black Caucus events. They recently sang for the investiture ceremony of Associate Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, the first African American female to become the 104th Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court. PL&MOM has traveled worldwide and represented the United States at the World’s Fair in Lisbon, Portugal.
