Earnest Pugh Celebrates A Thanksgiving Birthday

Friends and fans from far and near gathered  in the city of Houston to celebrate the birthday of  Dr. Earnest Pugh.  The capacity crowd enjoyed incredible talent at Pugh’s Chapter 57 Birthday Bash, which featured live performances from fellow artists and friends: #1 Billboard artist Marcus Jordan, powerhouse vocalist Rhonda McLemore, the sensational saxophonist Theresa Grayson, and choir master Brian Dunlap and 1-Purpose. The celebration was held at the Royalty Lounge and hosted by the electrifying Host —Erikah Nocturnal.
It was a day of celebration as Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner declared Saturday, November 16th Dr. Earnest Pugh Day in the city of Houston.  In conjunction with the festivities, Congresswoman Shelia Jackson Lee honored the Gospel superstar with a special commendation for his philanthropic efforts in the Houston community.
The evening ended with with a heart-felt performance from The Awarding Winning Artist himself, honoree Dr. Pugh with his “Thanksgiving Medley” (Give Him Thanks) and a debut performance of “Don’t Give Up” from the “Love Mountain” movie soundtrack written by Lee Shelton Film and Executive Producer Kerry Douglas. On Pugh’s actual birthday, which falls on Thanksgiving , he will join the staff of The Veterans Emergency Relief (VER) organization to deliver care packages to veteran residents at the DeGeorge Housing Facility at Union Station in Houston, Texas. Pugh founded VER, the non-profit organization, in 2017 to address privation issues (food, shelter, clothing and finances) for veterans and family members.
