VaShawn Mitchell Takes Gospel Heritage To New Heights

Award winning singer, songwriter and producer VaShawn Mitchell takes the reigns of the Gospel Heritage Foundation and sets his sites on the expansion of the conference to build and support worship music and worship leaders.

“I’m honored to be lending my gifts to the continued building of the Gospel Heritage legacy”, Mitchell shared.  “It is our vision to provide a platform to educate and inspire the current and future generations of worshipers, leaders and artists. I believe the time spent receiving inspiration, instruction and impartation during the Gospel Heritage Summit will bring in a fresh energy to those ministering in churches around the country.”

The 2018 International Worship & Arts Summit heads to Music City, Nashville, Tennessee on February 22-24 with sessions held at Mt Zion Baptist Church.  Instruction will come from prolific and powerful worship leaders including Israel Houghton, Dr. Jasmin Sculark and performances by Tasha Cobbs, JJ Hairston , Anthony Brown and others.

The Heritage Award will honor Cece Winans and Byron Cage for their meritorious work in the growth of Gospel music around the globe.
