Karen Clark Sheard Delivers New Disc July 17

Destined to Win, the long awaited and highly anticipated CD from Karen Clark Sheard will make its way to stores and digital outlets on Friday, July 17th.  Recorded live in Chicago, the disc pairs Clark Sheard with the production work of Donald Lawrence, Daniel Weatherspoon and her son J Drew Sheard.

The 4 time Grammy winner shared these thoughts, “I’ve had some tests and trials….but I kept pushing through. God gave me a word that you have to speak because your words have power. I want the album to be a driving force to move people to where they need to be.”

Among the gems on the disc is a not to be missed Pass the mic session on the Andrae Crouch composition, Where Jesus Is featuring the Clark Sisters, Kierra Sheard and Donald Lawrence’s Company singer Kim McFarland.  Where Jesus Is appears exclusively on the Walmart version of Destined to Win.
