James Robinson Tapped As New Malaco/Savoy GM

A new day dawns for Malaco Music Group with the announcement that veteran industry executive James Robinson has been selected as the Executive Director and General Manager of their Gospel Division.

Robinson, a co-founder of GOSPELflava has spent some two decades in the industry and in his tenure at eOne/Light Records is directly responsible for introducing the world to the immeasurable talents of JJ Hairston and Youthful Praise, Coko, Jessica Reedy and Jonathan McReynolds.  In the new post, Robinson will sign new acts and songwriters for publishing deals.

The current Malaco Gospel roster includes distribution deals for Bebe Winans and Tina Campbell with new music coming from Dorinda Clark Cole, The Canton Spirituals and The Mississippi Mass Choir.
