BMI To Release Gospel Compilation

The BMI Trailblazers of Gospel Music Luncheon is one of the most prestigious events in Gospel Music. Each year Broadcast Music Incorporated better known as BMI honors legends and trailblazers in the Gospel Music Industry. Past honorees include Pastor Shirley Ceaser, Kurt Carr, Kirk Franklin, and most recently Edwin and Tramaine Hawkins. The luncheon is filled with the industry’s finest who have gathered to pay homage to their colleague, friend, and for many their mentor.  The afternoon is filled with love and praise as heartfelt tributes are given from the BMI stage.. In celebration of this event, BMI is set to release a Trailblazers of Gospel compilation later this year. The leading single off the album will be Anyasha Figueroa’s rendition of the Hawkins classic, “Holy One”. Anyasha sang this at the 2013 BMI Trailblazers Luncheon, and had the crowd on its feet.
