Is There A Preacher In The House? Damien Sneed, CeCe Winans and Desmond Pringle

Now when it comes to singing preachers, there are a few that come to mind (shall we call the short list?): Shirley Caesar, Marvin Winans, Donnie McClurkin, Paul Morton, Dorinda Clark Cole, Kim Burrell Marvin Sapp,  John P Kee, Smokie Norful and the list goes on. Today, we extend the list.

Grammy Award Nominee  and Augusta, Georgia native Damien Sneed more than adequately fits the bill as a music wunderkind.  A highly sought after pianist, organist, vocal coach, composer/arranger and producer, Sneed’s impressive credits read like a who’s who in the music world registry.  Having worked with the likes of Karen Clark Sheard, Twinkie Clark, Vickie Winans as well as Wynton Marsalis and Jessye Norman, Sneed gives an added depth and dimension to “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel.”  Having acknowledged his call to ministry in 1998, he boldly proclaims the Word with freshness, power and authority.

CeCe Winans’ passion for the word and worship is evidenced in her music ministry.  It was her desire for reaching the lost that was the primary motivation for the organization of  the National Life Christian Church in Nashville where she and husband Alvin Love serve together as co-pastors.  CeCe envisions the the ministry to be multi -cultural and a place where people come to  simply have an encounter with God beyond the traditional.

For Kingdom Records recent signee Desmond Pringle, a home Bible study blossomed into the Watered Garden Fellowship Church in Inglewood, California.  Pringle was aware of the call on his life since fifth grade.  However, he says he never pursued the office of pastor and was content to sing God’s praises until God made the vision clearer and Desmond yielded to the call in 2008.
