Pastor Shirley Caesar’s Big TV Weekend

The undisputed Queen of Gospel, Pastor Shirley Caesar is riding high on the resurgence of her hit Hold My Mule and its various covers and memes.  The 2016 Hollywood Walk of Fame star recipient hit a new stride when Snoop Dogg released his own remix of U Name It which placed the song atop the Billboard Singles chart some twenty years after its initial release.

The multiple Grammy  and Dove Award winner  ( who sings the theme for the OWN television drama Greenleaf) makes a special appearance on Oprah’s Where Are They Now on Saturday December 3rd, then hits the BET stage with an appearance on the Joyful Noise program with Tye Tribbett on Sunday December 4th.  Check your local listings for time and station information in your area.  Pastor Caesar also makes an appearance at the Night of Inspiration at Carnegie Hall on Tuesday, December 6th with Ray Chew and Yolanda Adams, Richard Smallwood, Lawrence Brownlee, Dionne Warwick, Donnie McClurkin and others
