Tamela Mann Celebrates Big Wins

Tamela Mann is still on a high from her fantastic weekend.  On Saturday, she collected her second NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Gospel Album.  That was followed by her first Grammy win for Best Gospel Performance Song for “God Provides” and an unforgettable performance on the Grammy telecast featuring fellow Grammy  winners Chance the Rapper and Kirk Franklin.

“I want to thank my husband – he’s the best producer, baby daddy and my everything. Thank you to everyone that has been a part of this album, thank you for believing in me. Praise the Lord,” Tamela said after receiving her Grammy statue.

Tamela Mann heads next to the Stellar Awards where she is nominated in 9 categories that include Artist of the Year, Albertina Walker Female Vocalist of the Year, CD and Traditional CD of the Year, Producer of the Year, Song of the Year, Urban/Inspirational Single or Performance of the Year and Traditional Female Vocalist of the Year. Tamela’s album, One Way, is nominated for Recorded Music Packaging of the Year.
