Bishop Kenneth Moales Sr Passes
Bishop Kenneth Herbert Moales, Sr., founding pastor of the Prayer Tabernacle Church of Love (now the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit), Presiding Bishop of the Pentecostal Churches of Jesus Christ, Chaplain for the Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishops and President of the National Convention of Gospel Choirs and Choruses (NCGCC) passed away on Monday, September 20th in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Bishop Moales succeeded Thomas Dorsey as President of the NCGCC in 1993 and led the organization for more than 15 years. For his valiant efforts in promulgating the legacy and heritage of Gospel Music, he was inducted into the International Gospel Music Hall of Fame.
Bishop Moales is survived by his wife of 43 years Lady Peggy Ann Moales, three children, 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of extended family members, friends, supporters and ministry colleagues. The NCGCC has set up a memorial page on their website for condolences and memorial tributes.
