Moss began their career as The Moss Brothers following in the footsteps of their parents, Bill and Essie Moss (Bill Moss and the Celestials) and aunt, Dr. Mattie Moss Clark.  The Moss Brothers recorded a number of albums before pursuing solo endeavors .
