Lasha Knox Joins Pastor John Elmore For Christmas
Get ready to turn up the Christmas music, gather the family, and take a soulful trip down memory lane! GRAMMY®-nominated, Stellar Award-winning producer and Gospel recording artist Pastor John Elmore joins powerhouse vocalist LaShá Knox for TAKE ME BACK TO CHRISTMAS. Their festive four-song EP captures the warmth, wonder, and unmistakable magic of Christmas through the soulful sounds of classic Motown.
Inspired by the magic of growing up Black in the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, TAKE ME BACK TO CHRISTMAS delivers a nostalgic Motown-inspired sound filled with throwback melodies, and feel-good energy. From Daddy cutting down the Christmas tree and Mama preparing holiday favorites to family gatherings and the anticipation of Christmas morning, the project captures a time when the simplest moments created the most treasured memories.
The EP features four original selections: the title track, “Take Me Back To Christmas,” “Greatest Gift,” “Christmas Time,” and a special instrumental version of the title track—perfect for setting the mood at holiday dinners and family celebrations. Elmore and Knox wrote all songs, and Elmore also produced the project.
