11175026_10152937312602523_1479946091227277281_nAward Winning Gospel Artist Ted Winn has new music on the way and is inviting everyone to be apart. On Tuesday June 14th, Winn will go live on his Facebook and Periscope social media pages. Those who join him will be given the opportunity to hear his new single, “Grateful“, with Gospel’s newest sensation Maranda Willis.

The single is inspired by the Hawkins family classic, “Be Grateful”,  led by the legendary Lynette Hawkins Stephens. Willis who was dubbed as one of Essence Magazine’s, “Gospel Artist to Watch in 2016”, adds her own unique flair while remaining true to the musicality of the original Hawkins version.  When asked about recording the song with Winn she states, “It was a joy and honor to work with Ted. It’s such an amazing song and to be able to excerpt from the legendary Hawkins was humbling”.

Matt and Laurie Crouch posted sad news of the passing of Jan Crouch, yesterday morning on TBN’s website.

“Laurie and I have just watched the transition of our precious Mother from this world to the next; watched her step into the presence of Jesus and into her heavenly reward. Jan Crouch, known around the world as Momma Jan, has gone home.  Those who battled for the Kingdom of God knew her as a fighter-someone who didn’t give up, someone who fought relentlessly to get the Gospel around the world.  Viewers of the Trinity Broadcasting Network knew her as someone who partnered with Paul Crouch in the launch and expansion of TBN, and as someone who came into their homes for over 40 years. To thousands of orphans around the world, and those orphaned in spirit, she was Momma Jan, quick with a smile, a gift, and a word of encouragement. To a select few she was not a television figure, but was sister, wife, Mom, or Grandma- an integral part of a family. Jan Crouch loved many things, but most of all she loved Jesus, and now has seen Him face to face and has experienced His grace in fullness.

She has taken a piece of our hearts with her, but it’s so wonderful to know that Paul and Jan Crouch are together again, in the arms of Jesus.”

Nominations for the 2016 BET Awards were announced overnight.  The BET Awards honor achievements in music, movies, television and sports. This year's ceremony will air live at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 26, from inside the Microsoft Theater in L.A.  The gospel category nominees
