Tommies Reunion Celebrate CD Release In Chicago

Members of the Grammy® Award winning Thompson Community Singers, or the Tommies, as their fans call them; have come together as The Tommies Reunion. From 1982 through 2001, The Tommies dominated the radio airwaves as America’s No. 1 gospel choir with massive radio hits like “For the Good of Them” and “Safe in His Arms.” Now, they are back with their first album in a decade and it includes the rousing new Top 30 Billboard Gospel Airplay chart smash, “He’ll Work it Out.”

The Chicago-based aggregation is  throwing a party to celebrate the new self-titled album and the public is invited. Fans are invited to Grace Central Church, 10216 Kitchener Street, Westchester, IL 60154. The event is free of admission charge.

This week, the choir stopped by Chicago’s #1 rated television morning show, “The WGN Morning News.”
