Jekalyn Carr Takes #1 Spot On Billboard

Jekalyn Carr hits big with The Life Project, her third album and first live recording making its debut at number one on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart.  Carr’s single You’re Bigger also makes its way into the top spot on the Billboard Top Digital Downloads chart.

The Life Project, which dropped on August 5th is produced by Allen Carr and has seen much success because of the radio single.  You’re Bigger has held on to the number two spot on the Radio airplay chart for 8 consecutive weeks.

The 19 year old singer/evangelist continues to tour supporting the CD’s release.  Upcoming appearances include paying tribute to Pastor Shirley Caesar during the Black Music Honors event in Nashville on August 18th.  Carr also joins in the festivities at the Tom Joyner Family Reunion on Labor Day weekend.
