EMI Gospel announced the forthcoming release of Smokie Norful’s new project “Once In A Lifetime” which is set to be released 4/3. This year marks the 10 year anniversary of his debut project “I Need You Now“.
Jason Nelson of the Verity Gospel Music Group participated in The National Education Association’s “Read Across America Tour-Driven By Mazda” in his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland. He served as a reader to the children of the Winfield Elementary School. The organization called on local and national celebrity support their efforts in the improvement of literacy. His project is expected in the later part of 2012.
Shanachie Enteratinment announced that 10 time Grammy and Dove Award winning group Take 6 are set to release their new project on 3/27 titled “One“. Take 6 have been a mainstay in inspirational/Gospel music and are continuing to carry on the legacy that they have established.

William Mcdowell was featured in the 2/27 week edition of Jet Magazine. Mcdowell was honored at the 8th Annual State Farm Black Heritage Celebration presented by PNC on 3/2 during the Gospel Night at the Cavs vs. Chicago Bulls game. He is slated to perform at Radio One’s Inspiration &Music Conference in Philadelphia on 3/10.
