Heaven Rejoices: Ethel G. Shannon Makes Her Transition

Pastor John P. Kee’s beloved grandmother has made her transition. But Kee says “Heaven is rejoicing, the angels are singing and they saints are welcoming her home.” Mrs. Shannon’s voice can be heard on various VIP Recording projects and most recently on the Legacy Project released by Kee in 2012.  Though she departed this life at exactly 8pm tonight, Kee says he and his family are preparing for a celebration. “She was a woman of wisdom and a woman of strength that literally raised all sixteen of us. When we really understand that in transition we are better off. It’s okay to cry and deal with the human side. My physical man wanted to be sad but I promise you I could not find that emotion. We know that we are not to live forever, but are on loan to fulfill the promise.”
