Get Ready For New Music From Curtis Fondren
Curtis Fondren is widely known for his mastery of the drums. In over three decades, the Chicago native has played for the Chicago Gospel hitmakers including Reverend Clay Evans and the Fellowship Baptist Church Choir, Dr. Charles G. Hayes and the Cosmopolitan Church of Prayer Choir, Rev. Maceo Woods’ Christian Tabernacle Church Baptist Choir, Reverend Jessy Dixon, Geraldine & Donald Gay and the list goes on. Fondren now moves into songwriter and producer mode with the release of Get Ready, hitting radio this week and digital outlets on September 29th.
“I’ve been blessed to play for and travel with some great singers and musicians,” Fondren states. “God uses life experiences to teach us lessons, how to trust Him and to prepare us for what’s ahead. When we adjust our mindset, and get in line with God’s Word, we position ourselves for blessings to happen. We need to get ready. This is the set time for God’s release.”
Get Ready features the vocal stylings of Tina Brown and the track is produced by Fondren, Pharis Evans, Jr. and Gregory Gay. The digital release of the single will feature two versions of the song and serves as the anchor for The Writings of Curtis Fondren, Heartsongs and Other Melodies scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2018.
