Now when it comes to singing preachers, there are a few that come to mind (shall we call the short list?): Shi

Pastor Barbara Best of the BL and S Singers has passed away. With her gift acknowledged early on, she appeared before large audiences at the early age of 10 . Barbara Best sang with several groups around the Washington, DC area before organizing Barbara Best and the Deliverance Singers in 1966. It was from this group that BL and S was birthed (representative of the first initials of Barbara Best, Lois Tillery and Sylvia Wayman).
