The inaugural honorees included Pastor Shirley Caesar, Byron Cage, Clifton Davis, Kirk Franklin, Vickie Winans, Dottie Peoples, Ricky Dillard, Vicki Mack Lataillade, Dr. Leonard Scott and Ambassador Dr. Bobby Jones.
