AME Church Music Conference and Live Recording in Chicago

The Music and Christian Arts Ministry of the African Methodist Episcopal Church brings its 2013 MCAM Conference to the Gospel Music Capital of the world, Chicago IL, July 9 – 13, 2013. Reverend Anthony Vinson, Sr. Director of the Music and Christian Arts Ministry for the AME Church has assembled a team of music and creative arts leaders with the unified mission to educate, elevate and expand the understanding and use of the arts in worship. Through workshops, teaching, training and example it is our goal to equip the saints to do the work of the ministry through music and the arts!

Rev. John Richard Bryant, host bishop of the 4th Episcopal District and Senior Bishop of the AME Church will serve as keynote speaker of the opening services and the convention will be capped with the first ever Live CD/DVD recording of the 100 + voice AME Church Mass Choir featuring special guests Melonie Daniels, Myron Butler and Troy Bright.
