Ami Rushes Celebrates the Release of Testify

Ami Rushes chose the city of Chicago to celebrate the release of her 4th project entitled “Testify”.  A CD Release Listening Party was held at Chicago’s House of Blues and hosted by the Ambassador of Gospel Dr. Bobby Jones.

Ami was supported by the Chicago gospel radio community as well as the “Chicago Gospel Sisterhood” including the Queen of Gospel Albertina Walker, fellow Caravans member Inez Andrews and Lemmie Battles.  “Testify”, the title track and first single is a tribute to the late Godfather of Gospel Music, the Reverend Timothy Wright who passed away in April last year.  The project is produced by Kurt Carr.
