Stellar Spotlight – Tasha Cobbs

Motown Gospel recording artist Tasha Cobbs perfectly fits the moniker of “breakout artist”.  Her national debut, Grace took the world by storm with her cover of Break Every Chain.  Grace flowed freely and Cobbs went on to win her first Grammy coupled along with three Stellar Awards and three Dove Awards.  This year, Cobbs is nominated in 6 Stellar Awards, including Artist of the Year for her One Place Live CD.

One Place Live was recorded at the Redemption Center Church in Greenville, South Carolina and features the ever popular Jesus Saves, Fill Me Up, Overflow and the highly infectious Put A Praise On It.  In addition to headlining the One Place Live tour, Cobbs was nominated for a Grammy Award,  took home a trophy for Artist of the Year at the Dove Awards and  made a number of high profile appearances including the BET Celebration of Gospel  and the Grammy Pre-Show.
