Ashford Sanders Keeping It 100

Well on his way to earning the moniker of one of the hardest working men in the business, Sunday Best Season 5 Favorite Ashford Sanders is keeping it 100.  Maintaining a heavy travel schedule while promoting the release of his new single, Because You’ve Been Good, the Canton, Mississippi native wanted to highlight and help develop the talents of those coming behind him. His first endeavor comes off this weekend with the Mississippi Talent Showcase Finals.

“I can say the Sunday Best experience was a wonderful opportunity for me, I got a chance to meet some very talented and creative people and I thought, if these people are here, just think of the other people who are just as good (or better) and don’t venture out   I was thinking of providing a vehicle that would bring people together, give them a chance to show what they got and then encourage them to reach for the sky, so the Mississippi Talent Showcase was born.”

Contestants auditioned before a panel of judges and received one on one mentoring and coaching from Sanders and other industry professionals.  The March 20th event will feature performances from the 7 top finalists with the winner taking home a cash prize.
