Meet the Artist – Benita Farmer

Every once and again you come across someone with an undeniable gift and calling to music and artistry, such is the case with Benita Farmer.   As the story goes, Benita hails from a musical family- her mom is gospel legend and Former Sweet Rain recording Artist Bishop Barbara Ward Farmer (Bread of Heaven).  Benita’s collaborative efforts with songwriters Angela King and Jamar Jones (executive minister of music for Bishop TD Jakes) and production assistance from Anthony Bell (Jill Scott, Anthony Hamilton, Jazmine Sullivan, Usher) lead to the creation of her latest single, Mender of Me.  Its a dynamic song with a powerful message delivered with fervent passion and intentionality.  Mender of Me speaks a word of healing for the world to receive.  For this reason, we add Benita Farmer to the GOSPELflava watch list.
