Sensere Returns With New Single

Fresh off the heels of their chart-topping #1 single “That’s God…lalala,” gospel soul band Sensere announces the servicing of their brand-new single, “After Tonight,” to radio. The track is the highly anticipated follow-up to “That’s God…lalala,” which remains in heavy rotation across the country and continues to introduce new fans daily to Sensere’s signature sound.
“After Tonight” is taken from the group’s latest release, FRED HAMMOND PRESENTS SENSERE: THE SOUL OF FUTURE WORSHIP VOL. 2, which dropped earlier this month to an overwhelming response from fans and industry insiders alike. Many are already calling it the band’s best project to date.
Written and produced by Sensere’s founder and leader James “J Dubb” Wright alongside longtime manager Gerald Jones, “After Tonight” carries the same infectious, urban feel-good energy that propelled “That’s God…lalala” to #1. James explains:
“It was between this song and one other, and when we tested it with different radio professionals, the response was overwhelmingly in favor of ‘After Tonight.’ It still has that same urban, uplifting vibe, and it’s actually one of the bands’ favorite songs on the project. We actually recorded this song before we even came up with ‘That’s God…lalala.’”
Manager Gerald Jones adds:
“We call it the cousin to ‘That’s God…lalala,’ and we believe that’s why people are embracing it so quickly. At its core, it’s a universal message—no matter what you’re going through, joy truly comes in the morning. Tough times don’t last always, and that’s something the band lives by daily as we continue pursuing our calling and dreams while staying grounded in faith.”
With momentum already building, “After Tonight” is poised to continue Sensere’s legacy of delivering timeless gospel music that inspires, uplifts, and transcends genres.
