The Showers Take The Journey To The Web

On the heels of celebrating the release of their Billboard Top 5 charting project, Louisiana based sibling group The Showers take to the web to share the adventures of family, life, love and music with the debut of a 6 part series airing each Tuesday on their YouTube and Vevo channels.

The Showers showed love and appreciation to their hometown during a CD release celebration held at the end of October at the Greater Refuge Temple in Amite, Louisiana.  In addition to family, friends and Gospel music enthusiasts, the audience was treated to appearances from  Tasha Page-Lockhart, Kierra Sheard, Paul Porter, Keyondra Lockett, Arthur Gremillion & Friends, Kerri Gordon and Kelly & Kelly.

Released on the group’s family owned record label, A&P Records, on September 29, THE JOURNEY debuted at a strong number 3 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart and number 9 on the combined Billboard Top Christian/Gospel Albums chart. The album is among the top 15 highest selling gospel albums of the year to date.
