Praying For Malaco Records

Prayers are going to the founders, staff, and team of Malaco Records. The offices and buildings of Malaco records were affected by the tornado that came through Mississippi on Friday and Saturday. News source have reported that the tornado completely destroyed one of the buildings and tore the structure of two other buildings completely in half . Thankfully no one was injured, and the employees and volunteers have been spending the weekend trying to sort through the debris to see what remains.  One of the buildings storing over 40 years of music was slightly damaged.  Malaco has been a staple in the music industry for many years. The independent record label has been home to legendary artist such as The Mississippi Mass Choir, The Caravans, and the Rev. James Cleveland. Many gospel artist have passed through the legendary studio to record some of Gospel most ground-breaking and life changing projects, such as Bebe and Cece Winans. Wolf Stephenson who is the co founder of the label stated in an interview, there is no  word if there are plans to rebuild the company which had been staple in Music Industry and Business since 1967.
