Prayers For Derrick Starks

GOSPELflava joins others around the country celebrating the life of Reverend C. James Starks, patriarch of the Starks family and father to award winning songwriter/producer Derrick Starks and Lena Starks.

Married for over a half century, the elder Starks was a mentor and role model to many. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 26th at Detroit’s Greater Emmanuel Institutional Church of God in Christ.  Condolences can be sent to the family via mail at
