Ted and Sheri End High on the Year End Charts

This week, celebrated gospel duo Ted & Sheri officially cemented their triumphant comeback as their Number 1 radio single, “You’ve Been So Faithful (Groove),” grabbed the No. 2 spot on the Mediabase year end chart Most Played chart and No 8 on the Top Gospel Artist Chart. The chart-topping single is a vibrant, modern reworking of Eddie James & the Phoenix Mass Choir’s 1995 classic, “You’ve Been So Faithful,” and has already amassed more than 4 million digital streams.

The hit track appears on the duo’s current album, Again… (Ted & Sheri, LLC / Black Smoke Music Worldwide). The project showcases the pair’s signature vocal chemistry and spiritual depth, featuring standout tracks such as their collaboration with The Walls Group on “Now I Know,” the reflective and soul-stirring “Secret Place,” and several other compelling selections.

Before reuniting in 2022, Ted & Sheri had not recorded together since 2004. Ted Winn and Sheri Jones Moffett, both natives of Memphis, Tennessee, grew up singing in church and first crossed paths as members of Kevin Davidson & The Voices of Binghamton. Their musical journey continued when Moffett joined Winn’s group, Ted Winn & Deliverance, before the two officially formed Ted & Sheri in 1995.

The duo later signed with Los Angeles-based indie label Church Howse Records, releasing their debut album, The Healing Starts Right There, in 2001. The project earned them two Stellar Gospel Music Awards, with their powerful vocal blend resonating across gospel radio. Over the next several years, they toured extensively and scored radio hits with “Thank Him,” “I’ll Be Thinking of You,” “Celebrate,” and their signature song, “Come Ye Disconsolate.”

Around 2007, the duo amicably parted ways to pursue solo careers. Sheri Jones Moffettachieved Billboard Top 30 Gospel Airplay success with “Shine” and “Faith to Believe,” and reached No. 1 as the featured soloist on Donald Lawrence Presents the Tri-City Singers’gospel anthem, “Encourage Yourself.” Ted Winn also enjoyed solo success, earning multiple chart singles, including Billboard Top Ten hits “The Lifter” and “Stand in Awe.”

With Again… and the No. 1 success of “You’ve Been So Faithful (Groove),” Ted & Sheri prove that their musical bond—and message of faith—remains as powerful and relevant as ever.
