Tauren Wells Hills and Valleys Goes Gold
Provident/Sony Music recording artist Tauren Wells continues to celebrate the success of his breakout debut solo single, “Hills and Valleys.” The single, which peaked at #3 on Billboard, has recently been certified Gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America®). This marks an incredible year for Wells, who is also an eight-time nominee and performer at the upcoming 49th Dove Awards. Wells’ current single, “Known,” is currently #1 on Billboard Christian Airplay Chart.
Wells’ debut solo single, “Hills and Valleys” lifted from the album of the same name, has received over 100 million digital streams and its accompanying acoustic style music video has been viewed over 24 million times. Hills and Valleys’ third single “When We Pray” peaked at number two Billboard National Airplay chart. Tauren also achieved number one status being featured on Crowder’s hit song “All My Hope.”
As a newly announced performer on the 49thDove Awards, Tauren Wells leads the pack of artist nominees with eight nominations, including Song of the Year (“Hills and Valleys”) and New Artist of the Year. The Dove Awards will take place on October 16, 2018 in Nashville, TN at Lipscomb University and broadcast on TBN on Sunday, October 21st.
Elevation Worship released their single “Echo,” which features Tauren Wells and will appear on their upcoming album, Hallelujah Here Below. Recorded live at Elevation Church’s Ballantyne location in March 2018, Hallelujah Here Below, will be available wherever music is sold and streamed on September 28, 2018.
Wells will join the ladies of TV One’s “Sister Circle” on Friday, October 5 as a guest to discuss all of his current happenings. “Sister Circle” airs Monday-Friday at 12/11c on TV One.
Tauren Wells is currently touring with Dove Award winner, and Capitol recording artist, Danny Gokey on the “Hope Encounter” Tour.
