Israel Houghton has amassed a number of accolades in his 25 years in Gospel music.  5 Grammy-Awards, 13 Dove Awards, 2 Stellar Awards, a Soul Train Music Award are but a brief testament to his years of service in the kingdom as singer, songwriter and producer.  He is the recipient of his sixth Grammy award for Covered: Alive In Asia, which has been nominated for 4 Stellar Awards.

Covered: Alive in Asia is Israel Houghton & NewBreed’s 10^th album together and celebrates 15^th years together as a group.  The 16 track project features incredible duets from Yolanda Adams on “How Awesome Is Our God,” Jonathan McReynolds on “Already Done,” and Tye Tribbett joining on “Chasing Me Down.” The album opened at number 1 on the Billboard Gospel charts, serving as the group’s seventh number one debut.
