Larry Callahan and Selected Of God Continue The Evolution

Detroit’s own Larry Callahan and Selected of God (SOG), most notable from their appearance in the 2011 Chrysler Born of Fire Super Bowl Ad celebrates the release of their latest CD entitled The Evolution II on November 13th.

“The iconic finale scene in our 2011 ‘Imported from Detroit’ Super Bowl commercial featured Detroit’s own ‘Selected of God’ choir. Their presence and arresting voices captured the hearts of America and almost two years later we are proud to see Larry Callahan and ‘Selected of God’ choir crown their hard work with releasing their debut album,” said Saad Chehab, President and CEO – Chrysler Brand, Chrysler Group LLC.

A CD release concert will be held on Saturday, November 17th at Detroit’s Second Ebenezer Baptist Church.
