Calvin Bridges Recording Gospel Church Live In Chicago

International Gospel Recording artist Calvin Bridges returns home to Chicago on Saturday, February 25th for his first live recording in a decade.  The Grammy nominated and Stellar Award winning composer/producer has written Gospel classics and church rocking staples including So Much To Be Grateful For, Come On In This House, Renew My Spirit, and Spread the Word & I Can Go To God In Prayer for the Queen of Gospel, Albertina Walker.  I Can Go To God In Prayer is probably Bridges’ most celebrated composition and has been covered by Ann Nesby, Ami Rushes, Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and others.

Bridges shared exclusively with GOSPELflava: ” I’ve done a number of studio projects over the past couple of years and had a desire to do another live church project.  I prayed about it and the Lord started to open the doors and we are walking through them.  This project will give you all the elements of church, the praise and worship, some traditional and some contemporary sounds, but all church.”

In counting his blessings, Calvin Bridges offers thanks to God for 2 decades of international ministry.  “(Its) so hard to believe that it’s been 20 years of ministry; 3 passports, thousands of miles, airports, dozens of songs, rehearsals, workshops, concerts, festivals… and GOD has said yes to everyone, every year!! I am so grateful for His grace and love! What a Celebration this year has been for me!”
