The Orleans Arena, a Boyd Gaming facility located just west of the Las Vegas Strip, is one of the nation’s leading multi-purpose sports and entertainment facilities and the 2014 recipient of the Venue Excellence Award from the International Association of Venue Managers.
So there are countless events during Stellar Award week. Where to get started? The official sanctioned events, of course! Some are ticketed, others invitation only, but this is the list of happenings that the Stellar committee has put it’s stamp on.
The 47th annual NAACP Image Awards, hosted by Anthony Anderson, were awarded Friday in Los Angeles, with “Straight Outta Compton” winning best film and “Creed” star Michael B. Jordan winning both entertainer of the year and best actor. “Empire” and “black-ish” won best drama and comedy TV shows, respectively. In it’s only gospel related category, Tina Campbell, came away with a win:
