Charles Jenkins and Fellowship Chicago aren’t\u00a0 strangers to the Stellar Awards.\u00a0 The Chicago based ensemble burst on the scene with their runaway smash hit, Awesome (from the Best of Both Worlds CD) which spent 22 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Radio chart,\u00a0 took home a BMI Award for over 100,000 spins at radio and won 5 Stellar Awards.<\/p>\n
This year, Jenkins and choir return to the spotlight with 8 nominations for their follow up project Any Given Sunday led by their rhythmic radio single, #WAR.\u00a0 The song struck a chord with audiences across the country and sparked a fire in the hearts of the people.\u00a0\u00a0 Jenkins noted this, \u201cNothing brings us more joy than\u00a0hearing people sing #WAR as their personal fight song.
