Kirk\u00a0Franklin’s <\/b>“Wanna Be Happy” was announced this evening as the Grammy winner in the category of Best<\/i><\/b> Gospel Performance\/Song<\/i><\/b>.\u00a0 In a generous move, Franklin<\/b> called all of the fellow nominees on stage to be recognized, saying he wants the voting body to know their names and faces. Anthony Brown, Travis Greene, Jonathan McReynolds and Brian Courtney Wilson <\/b>all joined Franklin<\/b> on stage to be recognized as the “new faces of gospel”. Not that he’s going anywhere, but Gospel is certainly in good hands!<\/p>\n
