Its a changing o<\/span>\"stellar-awards-logo\"<\/span>f the guard as Stellar Awards producer Barbara Wilson passes the baton to Deborah Byrd.\u00a0 Wilson has helmed production efforts for the show since the very first show taped at Chicago’s Arie Crown Theater in 1985.\u00a0 We talked with Barbara Wilson some years back, see our interview here<\/a>. While taking a step back, Wilson is not going off the scene entirely, she will maintain an active presence with the show as executive consultant.

Deborah Byrd brings many years of experience to the game as she steps into her first main production opportunity.\u00a0 She has worked behind the scenes managing talent for the Billboard Awards, Teen Choice Awards, Emmy\u2019s, and the American Music Awards. In the last decade, she has worked with the BET Awards, Hip Hop Awards, BET Honors and Black Girls Rock! This year’s Stellar Awards takes place on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, NV.<\/span><\/p>\n
