Charles Jenkins and Fellowship Chicago joined the hurricane relief assistance efforts by making a $10,000 donation to the Higher Dimensions Church HD Cares initiative.<\/p>\n
\u201cI hope everyone is inspired to do something, whether it’s great or small it all counts” says Jenkins.\u00a0\u201cOur brothers and sisters are in need, so this is the time for the church to step up and be visible as the\u00a0survivors rebuild not only their homes but also their lives. \u00a0Pastor Terrance Johnson and HD Cares is\u00a0doing a tremendous work in Houston and we just wanted to be a part of their good work.\u201d Pastor\u00a0Johnson responded saying, “It’s all about rebuilding now and we are grateful for the support of people\u00a0like Pastor Jenkins and others who will step up because the need is so great. It’s going to take years to\u00a0recover so we need the ongoing help for the families in need.”<\/p>\n
Jenkins and company also joined other artists performing at the Benefit Concert for families impacted by the hurricane at the New Light Christian Center pastored by Bishop IV Hilliard. \u00a0 “The Hilliard’s and The Light are helping\u00a0people and meeting needs everyday so it was a blessing to support their effort to raise funds” says\u00a0Jenkins.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
