WOW Gospel 2013 Kirk Franklin's "I Smile" makes an appearance here, and with good reason, as performing rights group BMI certified it as the most played song of 2012. Newcomers (and Kirk Franklin protégés) The Walls Group makes their debut with "Never Wanna Let You Go". Anthony Brown & Group TherAPy shares their "Testimony", while the message of hope is instilled in hearts, minds and spirits through "Hold On" from James Fortune and FIYA. "Turning Around for Me" from VaShawn Mitchell, Israel Houghton and New Breed's "It's Not Over (When God Is In It)" and the all too short but very potent "God Is On Our Side" from the pen of Andrae Crouch are included. Armed with new determination you will get "Happy" courtesy of EMI Gospel's Tasha Cobbs and emphatically declare with Fred Hammond, "I Feel Good". Interesting enough, that's just a sampling of disc one. Disc two kicks off with choir fire as Ricky Dillard and New G's "He Turned It" sets the pace, followed by "After This" from JJ Hairston and Youthful Praise featuring Bishop Eric McDaniel. Pastor Charles Jenkins and Fellowship Chicago contribute the 2012 Stellar Award Winning Song of the Year, "Awesome" and "Sow In Tears" from Richard Smallwood with Vision rounds out the choir section. For the men, Jason Nelson causes a "Shifting in the Atmosphere", Marvin Sapp handles "My Testimony" and Patrick Dopson asks for the Lord's covering in "Keep Me". Tamela Mann gives us a "Stretch" and Anita Wilson brings Jesus back to the center with "All About You". WOW Gospel 2013 is sure to lift the spirit and warm the heart. With a WOW factor of infinity plus, you will enjoy the ride as the sounds of gospel take you to a higher place.
