Underground Counsel 2 Todd Bangz secures 'underground counsel' from his diverse crew, and joins with them to deliver a compilation full of the expected gritty beats, in-your-face lyrics and a few urban joints. It's Underground Counsel 2 let's run down some of the joints: "Smash" is a beat-banger from ADF featuring Bangz, where each emcee presents the focus of the Bang Theory. On "Industry Puppets", Bangz addresses the danger of secular and Christian emcees doing whatever is necessary to make money. Bangz lays the hot track and he does not bite his tongue on this one. B Dill delivers a few urban songs, adding another dimension to Bang Theory. Dill borrows the melodic arrangement of "Mi Cherie Amor" by Stevie Wonder and changes it into "Elohim My Lord". Dill assures that there is "No Competition" to God's love (whether it is a spouse, or anyone or anything else) on this funky, Todd Bangz-produced jam. One of the hottest songs on Underground Counsel 2 are delivered by female emcees. Shekinah tackles the perils of street life on "Don't Walk Away"; Alena weaves her smooth vocals throughout the cut, and Todd Bangz provides the music for this R&P-styled song. Male and female duo Foreign Tongues amaze on "Portrait of a Broken Man", set as a dialogue. The woman pleads with the man to give his life to the Lord, despite his hard life to date. This is perhaps the best song on the album the lyrics and production are top notch. Todd Bangz gives us something to dance to and reflect on the wonderful "Soul Winners". His flow is infectious, yet it always gives way to a potent message. If Bang Theory's Underground Counsel 2 is a hint of what's to come from this deep and talented crew of emcees and singers, then you've all been warned. Thanks for an album that is fire for the Lord!
