Bless You God This live release features a host of tracks to set an atmosphere for a blessing, miracle, worship experience, or a time for you and your friends to pull over on the side of the road and "tell Him thank YA!" The album begins with "Drumline" that quickly catches your attention and prepares you for "We Praise", which brings to mind Miriam in the book of Exodus who led a song of praise as the Israelites passed through the Red Sea. Coincidentally, Williams encourages listeners through their own Red Sea experience with the hot gospel track "You're Gonna Make It", which reminds us that "the race is not given to the swift but to the one that endures to the end!" "Say Yes" is a traditional number that is sure to please. Williams brings out a squall that lets us know she has been doing business in someone's Pentecostal church. I personally enjoyed this song so much that I found myself rewinding the vamp several times in order to "feel it." This album is full of nothing but stand-out tracks; you will be able to press play and simply enjoy your day time and again as the summer calendar unfolds. Bless You God is a gospel gem that will be remembered for years to come.
