 I Receive Your Love The album, titled I Receive Your Love, is produced by Kenneth Andres starts off with the mid-tempo "Rejoice". Singer/songwriter Holmes runs her soprano vocals over a smooth bed of backing vocals and thumping bass line. 
Lead single "Whatever It Is" puts the focus on encouragement. Co-written with Holmes' daughter, Ashley Hicks, the song quickly finds its groove and reels you in with its infectious hook.Other songs of note are the worshipful "The More I Seek You", in which Holmes invites her pastor, Bishop George Davis, to join her in duet, and the powerful "God", penned by Donald Lawrence. "Breathe on Me", a cover of the Natalie Grant hit, slowly catches fire as it builds in intensity over it's five minutes plus duration. Piano from Kenny Levine adds just the right touch. Rounding out the project are gems such as "Day By Day" and "Everyday". I Receive Your Love is an absolutely stellar introduction from Gail Holmes. Take note, this is an artist to keep on your radar.
