Insider with Brent Jones
Gospel has its distinctive personalities, among them, Brent Jones, director and lead man of the TP Mobb.
Based in southern California, Jones and the Mobb have pioneered the 'outside the box' Gospel movement in the area, and their influence has been felt across the entire Gospel nation.
Jones' vocals are not to be missed, there's no-one who sounds like him, and his writing style is a contemporary fusion of smooth groove, laid-back hooks and strong rhythms.
The year 2002 sees Jones and crew bring forth Beautiful, their sophomore project, released on Holy Roller Entertainment / EMI Gospel. Featuring songs such as "Spiritual Thing", "Holy Ghost High" and "Midnight" with guest artist Cheryl 'Coko' Gamble, it's a must-have for urban Gospel enthusiasts.
