BMI honored Gospel artists with its third annual "Trailblazers of Gospel Music" luncheon on Friday, January 11. Hosted by BMI's Catherine Brewton, several notable stopped by, including Fred Hammond, Men of Standard, The William Brothers and Montell Jordan. Stellar Photos: BMI Luncheon. Sister 2 Sister Magazine and ASCAP co-hosted a special pre-Stellar luncheon on Friday, January 11th in honor of the Stellar Awards Gospel Music Academy (SAGMA). Artists such as Two-Edge, Shirley Murdock and Generation J stopped by (see SAGMA Luncheon Photo Feature and also the Arrow Records Photo Feature) The morning after winning five Stellar Awards, Kurt Carr & The Kurt Carr Singers headed to Atlanta's CNN Studios for an interview & performance segment on CNN Live. Later that afternoon they taped a 2-hour TBN Premiere Praise Television Special, which will air on the Trinity Broadcasting Network sometime in Spring 2002. Photo below:
