 Nominee Reception Photo Shoot (1) The Nominee Reception for the 15th Annual Stellar Awards, co-sponsored by Church's Chicken , Sister2Sister Magazine and Columbia Records, kicked into immediate full swing to celebrate another great year in Gospel. A smash opener with sure-hit upcoming Columbia recording artists, Mary, Mary ushered the  crowd into a frenzy to receive the honorees for the evening.
In addition to announcing the nominees, winners
in select categories were announced. The remainder of the awards were presented the following night at
the taped ceremony at the Atlanta Civic Center.Church's Chicken came to show it's support of the Gospel community and Jamie Foster Brown's Sister2Sister Magazine joined in to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Calvin Terrell's "Stomps and Shouts" column dedicated to Gospel industry news. There was lots of hob-nobbing among industry insiders and the event was a virtual 'who's who' of cross industry producers and performers. Handshakes and hugs were the greetings of choice as people "caught up" from workshop.
