Young Joshua
Thinking Out Loud

Cross Movement Records is hardly resting on their laurels! The latest among a crop of new signings is Young Joshua, a Philly-based East Coast rapper through and through who delivers an impressive gem of debut, Thinking Out Loud.

Production comes from the likes of DJ Official, Tee-Wyla, Pee Dee, Israel Musiq and Teddy P as he brings an urban ministry that will go well with those who love Hip Hop topped off with gritty bangers along with some more mellowed cuts. It's a well-rounded release.

CD "Well Done" is a feel good mid-tempo jam with a message that many people in the Faith will want to hear when standing before the judgment. To his credit, Young Joshua does not try to emulate anyone's flow, be it secular or in the HHH realm. His style is all his own.

His vivid storytelling his accented via a dope Mad Max Productions beat on "Old Me", which could be a testimonial anthem for many.

Why does R Swift bring so much heat with every guest spot that he snags? Check out his combo stylings with female emcee Techniq on "Homecoming". And don't' overlook Techniq, because her verse packs a mighty punch.

On another guest artist tip, JR appears on "My Life", bringing a calmness and serenity to the track. Check out the way he and Young flow together on this techno-esque cut, featuring production from Israel Musiq.

Sit back, relax, and be encouraged with "Don't Do It" and the soulful "What Happened", featuring Ryan Post. Imagine listening to your favorite throwback slow jam from the 70's, mashed up with a candid message from Young Joshua —you'll have "To Whom It May Concern".

Nod your head to the banger, "Where You At". So infectious, with inspiration from Philippians 4:11-12, which in part tells us to be content in whatever state that we are in.

Thinking Out Loud is high quality East Coast Hip Hop with the Good News of Christ all over it! Young Joshua brings a freshness that is enjoyable and heartfelt.
