Mirros

UAB Gospel Choir
Mirrors

The Gospel choir concept is one that is synonymous with the Music Departments in Colleges and Universities across the Country. They bring flavor, culture, and inspiration to their various campuses and are given the opportunity to share their gifts to the world.

The University of Alabama at Birmingham Gospel Choir who recently celebrated 15 years has been hailed as one of the top choirs in the Southeast. Opening for such artists as CDStevie Wonder, Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, and The Clark Sisters, you instantly know you are in store for a special experience.

Under the direction of the award winning Minister Kevin P. Turner, this choir, featuring over 100 voices, has released their newest project, Mirrors.

The choir kicks off the album with "Great Is Thy Faithfulness", an upbeat rendition of the classic hymn. The arrangement puts you in the mind set of classic choir music and makes a smooth transition into, "Turn Your Situation Around".

The tile track is guaranteed to touch the broken hearted as the message talks about looking at yourself in the eyes of God's.

Each lead vocalist sings with conviction and takes the listener into their testimony of growth and change as they sing. The ministry in the album will delight as the youthful worship refreshes your soul.

Minister Turner takes the lead on "Before I Go" and delivers powerful vocals as he sings about needing the power and presence of God.

Perhaps one of the most moving songs on the project is "The Graduation Song: Where Do We Go From Here". Tina Molette and Myesha Hall join Minister Turner in a song that will serve as a ministry tool to students around the world who are embarking on graduation. The song proclaims that favor and direction be upon each student and that they receive peace. It sums up the entire purpose of the project.
