Alive and Transported Nirva Dorsaint-Ready is featured prominently on the infectious hit, "Irene" as Tim Roseneau showcases his skills on the guitar, and then killing it on a trumpet solo. Toby keeps it funky with "J Train" while the energetic and multi-talented Shonlock flips and delivers some nice b-boy moves. Shonlock also spits a few bars on the driving "Boomin".There is not a dull moment on this project, with lighting and set design top notch and geared for a crowd of the young, and the young at heart. The choreography is on point and not over the top. Toby delights with such hits as "No Ordinary Love", "I'm For You" and even a new song, "Ignition". True to form, Toby Mac spends some time reading scripture, with I John 1:5 being the passage chosen for this recordgin very fitting as a prelude to "In The Light", the reggae-tinged worship song. The group starts off on their knees for the beginning of "I'm Yours", which begins in a mellow vein before moving into its usual rock arrangement. Dorsaint-Ready and Roseneau even go into a playful vocal vs. guitar rift battle. Winner: Dorsaint-Ready. Gabe Real brings a "can he really do that with his mouth" beat box/scratch to the chill "Love Is in the House". The place goes into worship on the mega hit "Made To Love" and the passionate "Burn for You". Toby prays for a passion to ignite the youth of Houston and then brings the place into a crazy frenzy by singing "Jesus Freak". Alive and Transported brings it all, and then some for Toby Mac fans around the world.
