Bone Appetit The lead single, "Name Droppin", is an urban jam in which T Bone subtly throws in the names of several notable Christian Rock, CCM, Gospel artists and preachers that should tickle the ears of music enthusiasts. Eric Dawkins brings his expert chops to bring this one up a notch. Listen to this one ten times, and you may still miss a reference or two."I've Been Looking Around" gets a lift with the added vocals of Rachel Lampa, which blends well into this already potent song. T Bone has always had a nice voice, as he has displayed on several of his previous albums (look for him as the featured vocalist on "With Long Life" from Israel and New Breed's A Deeper Level). On "Sing His Praises", a Latin, Middle-Eastern and Indian flava'd praise song, Bone not only sings but adds a little dancehall flare in the middle. This piece, featuring Natalie Larue and Mark Stuart, is a fun yet beautiful ode to God that deserves to make waves worldwide. Included on this album are the Fred Jerkins' produced club bangers, "Follow T" and Let That Thang Go", and the west coast anthem, "Turn This Up". Those who like the rapid fire heat from Bone will be thrilled to hear "Wipe Your Tears". You'll also enjoy guitar heavy "Raised in Harlem" and the multi-ethnic "King Of My Life", both pulled from albums on which T Bone guested. Bone-Appetit is how a greatest album should be done. It really does capture the best of T Bone within the last decade, showing his growth as an artist, and makes for a great addition to one's collection.
